Setup
1. Mounting the Device
- The Powersound V1 is designed for wall mounting.
- Choose a location where the motion sensor has an unobstructed view of the desired detection area.
- Consider installing it on the top of a wall or discreetly behind an object like a tree in a covered outdoor area, ensuring it is protected from moisture.
- Secure the device using appropriate mounting hardware (not included).
2. Power Connection
- Connect the provided DC12V power adapter to the device's power input port.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The device will power on automatically.
3. Customizing Audio Files
The device supports MP3 audio files. You can update audio files using either a USB flash drive or an SD card.

Using a USB Flash Drive:
- Format your USB flash drive to FAT32. (Note: NTFS format may cause transfer issues).
- Copy your desired MP3 audio files to the root directory of the USB flash drive.
- Insert the USB flash drive into the USB interface on the device.
- Press and hold the V+/C button. The device should automatically begin copying files to its internal memory. The red indicator light may blink during this process.
- Once the transfer is complete, remove the USB flash drive.
Using an SD Card:
- Copy your desired MP3 audio files to a standard SD card (maximum 2GB).
- Insert the SD card into the SD card slot on the device.
- The device can play audio files directly from the SD card.
Operating Instructions
1. Motion Detection and Playback
- Once powered on and with audio files loaded, the device will enter standby mode.
- When the PIR motion sensor detects movement within its range (approximately 16 feet), it will trigger the playback of the stored audio files.
- The audio can be heard up to 100 feet (30 meters) away.

2. Playback Modes
The device supports two main playback modes:
- Single Cycle Playback: Plays one audio file and then stops until motion is detected again.
- Order Playback (Sequential): Plays audio files in sequence. After playing the last file, it will loop back to the first.
Specific instructions for switching between these modes are typically found in the device's internal programming or may be controlled by the order of files on the SD card/USB drive. Refer to the manufacturer's specific guidance if available.
3. Volume Adjustment
- Use the V+/C button to increase the volume.
- Use the V-/L button to decrease the volume.
