1. Introduction
The Yealink SIP-T21P-E2 is an entry-level IP phone designed for efficient and reliable communication. It features a 132x64-pixel graphical LCD with backlight, offering a clear visual experience. This phone supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation by delivering power and data over a single cable. It is equipped with HD Voice technology for superior audio quality.
Note: A power supply is NOT included with this device as it is primarily designed for Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments. If a power adapter is required for non-PoE setups or for expansion modules, the YEA-PS5V600US model is compatible.

3. Product Overview
3.1. Physical Features

4. Setup
4.1. Assembling the Phone
- Attach the stand to the back of the phone unit.
- Connect the coiled handset cord to the handset port on the phone and to the handset itself.
4.2. Connecting to the Network and Power
The SIP-T21P-E2 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). This means the phone can receive both power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable from a PoE-enabled switch or injector.
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the INTERNET port on the back of the phone.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a PoE-enabled port on your network switch or router.
- If you are not using PoE, connect a compatible 5V/600mA DC power adapter (YEA-PS5V600US, sold separately) to the power port on the phone and then to a power outlet.
- The phone will power on and begin the boot-up process.
4.3. Initial Configuration
Upon first boot, the phone may attempt to obtain network settings via DHCP. For SIP account registration and advanced settings, access the phone's web user interface (Web UI) via a web browser on a computer connected to the same network.
- Find the IP address of the phone by navigating to Menu > Status on the phone's LCD screen.
- Open a web browser on your computer and enter the phone's IP address in the address bar.
- Enter the default username and password (typically admin/admin or admin/password). Refer to your network administrator for specific credentials.
- Configure your SIP accounts, network settings, and other preferences as required by your VoIP service provider or network administrator.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Making Calls
- Dialing: Pick up the handset or press the Speaker button, then dial the number and press Dial or wait for a few seconds.
- Redial: Press the Redial button to call the last dialed number.
- Speed Dial: Press and hold a configured speed dial key.
5.2. Answering Calls
- When the phone rings, pick up the handset or press the Speaker button.
- Alternatively, press the Answer soft key.
5.3. Call Management Features
- Hold: During an active call, press the Hold soft key. Press it again to resume the call.
- Mute: Press the Mute button to mute your microphone. Press again to unmute.
- Transfer: During an active call, press the Transfer soft key, dial the new number, and then press Transfer again (blind transfer) or wait for the other party to answer before pressing Transfer (attended transfer).
- Conference: During an active call, press the Conf soft key, dial the number of the third party, and then press Conf again to establish a 3-way conference.
- Do Not Disturb (DND): Press the DND soft key to activate/deactivate.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Yealink IP Phone.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the phone's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Environment: Keep the phone away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
- Handling: Avoid dropping the phone or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check for and apply firmware updates provided by Yealink or your service provider to ensure security and access to new features.
7. Troubleshooting
