Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge both the voice amplifier speaker and the wireless headset microphone.

• Speaker: Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the speaker's DC 5V input port (located under the rubber flap on the side) and to the wall charger. The LED display will show charging progress.
• Headset: Connect the Mini USB charging cable to the headset's charging port and to the wall charger. A blue LED light on the headset indicates charging.

2. Connecting the Wireless Headset

The wireless headset and speaker utilize UHF wireless transmission technology for automatic connection.

1. Power on the voice amplifier speaker by pressing and holding the power button.
2. Power on the wireless headset microphone.
3. The headset and speaker should automatically pair. A voice prompt will confirm "UHF is connected."

3. Bluetooth Pairing (for music playback)

To play music wirelessly from your device:

1. Power on the voice amplifier speaker.
2. Press the 'M' (Mode) button on the speaker until you hear the voice prompt "Bluetooth is waiting for connection."
3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "SD M800" in the Bluetooth settings.
4. Select "SD M800" to pair. A voice prompt will confirm "Bluetooth is connected."

4. Attaching the Strap

Attach the adjustable waistband/shoulder strap to the metal clips on the top corners of the speaker for convenient portability.

Operating the Voice Amplifier

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button on the top of the speaker for a few seconds until you hear a startup tone and the LED display illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button again until the device powers down.

2. Mode Selection

Press the 'M' (Mode) button on the top of the speaker to cycle through available modes:

• Bluetooth Mode
• USB Disk Playback
• Micro SD Card Playback
• AUX Input
• UHF Wireless (for headset)

3. Volume Control

• Speaker Volume: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the top of the speaker to adjust the overall volume.
• Headset Volume: The wireless headset has its own volume controls for independent adjustment.

4. Using the Microphone

Once the wireless headset is connected (UHF mode), speak into the microphone for voice amplification. The headset is designed to be worn over the head, around the neck, or held as a mini handheld microphone.

Media Playback and Recording

1. Music Playback

The voice amplifier supports simultaneous voice amplification and music playback.

• Bluetooth: Pair your device as described in the Setup section.
• USB Disk: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB-A port.
• Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card into the dedicated slot.
• AUX Input: Connect an external audio device using the provided 3.5mm audio cable.

2. Recording Function

The device supports one-key recording. To use this feature, you must insert a TF/Micro SD card or U disk (not included) and use a plug-in microphone (not the wireless headset).

Care and Maintenance

1. IPX5 Waterproof Rating

Do not submerge the device in water. Ensure all rubber flaps covering the ports are securely closed when exposed to moisture.

2. Battery Care

• The built-in 4400mAh lithium battery provides approximately 10-12 hours of speaker working time at half volume. The UHF headset mic has a working time of about 2-4 hours.
• If using for more than 3 hours continuously, consider using a wired microphone or purchasing a wired version of the amplifier.
• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.

3. Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Troubleshooting

• No Sound/Low Volume:
  • Ensure both the speaker and headset are powered on and fully charged.
  • Check that the headset is properly connected to the speaker (UHF mode).
  • Adjust the volume on both the speaker and the headset.
  • If using Bluetooth, ensure your device's volume is also turned up.
• Headset Disconnection/Static:
  • Ensure the headset and speaker are within the wireless connection range (up to 100ft in open areas).
  • Avoid obstructions between the headset and speaker.
  • Re-pair the headset if necessary by powering both devices off and on.
• Bluetooth Connectivity Issues:
  • Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode.
  • Forget the device on your smartphone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
  • Ensure no other devices are actively connected to the speaker.
• Recording Not Working:
  • Ensure a TF/Micro SD card or U disk is inserted.
  • Note that recording typically requires a plug-in microphone, not the wireless headset.
