Controls and Indicators

Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the micro-USB end of the included charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the USB-A end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 2.5 hours of playback at 100% volume.

Powering On/Off

To turn the speaker ON, press and hold the Power button (①) until the LED indicator lights up. To turn the speaker OFF, press and hold the Power button again until the LED indicator turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing

Follow these steps to connect your speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered ON and in pairing mode (the LED indicator will typically flash).
  2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for available devices. The speaker should appear as "iLive ISBW108BU" or a similar name.

Operation

Playing Audio

After successful Bluetooth pairing, you can play audio from your connected device. Use the Play/Pause button (▶‖) on the speaker to control playback. Adjust volume using the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons. Track skipping may be controlled via your connected device.

Hands-Free Speakerphone

When a call comes in while your phone is paired, the speaker will ring. Press the Bluetooth/Call button (☎ ①) once to answer the call. Press it again to end the call. The built-in microphone allows for clear communication.

Waterproof Feature (IPX5)

The iLive ISBW108BU speaker features an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for use near pools, at the beach, or in light rain. It is not designed to be submerged in water.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your speaker, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the fabric and rubberized coating. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before cleaning or exposing to water.

Battery Care
