1. Introduction

The My Detox Foot Bath Ionic Detox Foot Bath Spa system is designed for home use, offering a convenient way to perform foot detoxification. This system is versatile and can be used with bath sea salt, herbal foot bath tablets, or bath balls. Its simple design ensures ease of use and portability.

Key features include indicator lights for working status and a user-friendly interface. The system is suitable for various settings, including family use, individual sessions, beauty clubs, and spa clubs, functioning as a foot spa, massage tub, or manicure tub.

2. What's Included

3. Setup

1. Prepare the Basin: Place the foot basin on a dry, stable, and level surface. For hygiene, place one of the disposable basin liners inside the foot basin.

2. Connect the Control Unit: Place the control unit securely into its designated slot on the foot basin.

3. Connect the Ion Arrays: Plug the two ion arrays into the "ARRAY" ports on the control unit. Ensure a secure connection.

4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC input port on the control unit, then plug the adapter into a standard 110V-220V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Fill the Basin: Fill the basin with warm water, ensuring the water level covers the ion arrays but does not exceed the maximum fill line.
2. Add Salt (Optional): Add a small amount (approximately 1/2 to 1 tablespoon) of salt to the water to enhance the ionization process. Himalayan pink salt is commonly used.
3. Begin Session: Place your feet into the water. Press the power button on the control unit to start the session. The indicator lights around the power button will illuminate, each representing approximately 5 minutes of the session time. A full session is typically 30 minutes (6 indicator lights).

4. Monitor Session: The water will gradually change color during the session due to the ionization process and impurities being released. This is a normal and expected part of the detox process.
5. End Session: The unit will automatically turn off after the set time. Remove your feet and dry them thoroughly.

Important Notes:

• Avoid adding too much salt, as high salt content in the water can cause the device to shut off prematurely.
• The water color change is primarily due to the reaction between the array, water, and salt, and does not solely indicate toxins from the body.
• The total usage time for the arrays may vary depending on water quality and salt content. Replace arrays when they show significant wear or when the unit indicates a need for replacement.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Basin: After each use, discard the disposable liner. Clean the foot basin with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storage.
• Cleaning the Ion Arrays: After each session, rinse the ion arrays with clean water to remove any residue. For deeper cleaning, soak them in a mixture of water and white vinegar. Ensure they are completely dry before storing.
• Storage: Store all components in the provided black zipper carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

6. Troubleshooting

• Device Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the control unit and a working electrical outlet.
  • Check if the power outlet is functional by testing it with another device.
• Indicator Lights Not Illuminating:
  • Verify that the ion arrays are properly connected to the control unit.
  • Ensure there is sufficient water in the basin to cover the ion arrays.
  • Check if the water has too much salt, which can cause the unit to shut off. Reduce salt if necessary.
• Water Not Changing Color:
  • Ensure the ion arrays are fully submerged in water.
  • Verify that salt has been added to the water (if desired for enhanced ionization).
  • The effectiveness of the array may diminish over time; consider replacing them if issues persist.
