Introduction

The MXR M228 Dyna Comp Deluxe Compressor brings enhanced control to the classic compression sound. Its circuitry is built around the CA3080 "metal can" integrated circuit, known for its quiet operation, transparency, and dynamic range.

Setup

Power Requirements

The Dyna Comp Deluxe operates on a 9V AC power adapter. Ensure the adapter is compatible with the pedal's power input. The power input jack is located on the side of the pedal.

Connecting the Pedal

Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack on the right side of the pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable. Connect the OUTPUT jack on the left side of the pedal to your amplifier or the next pedal in your signal chain using another 1/4-inch instrument cable.

Battery Installation (Optional)

To install a 9V battery, remove the four screws on the bottom plate of the pedal. Carefully lift the bottom plate to access the battery compartment. Connect a 9V battery to the clip and place it inside the compartment. Replace the bottom plate and secure the screws.

Operating the Dyna Comp Deluxe
