3. Setup
The Fangtek barcode scanner is designed for simple plug-and-play operation. No drivers or additional software are required for most standard uses.

Initial Connection:
- Locate an available USB port on your computer (Desktop or Laptop).
- Plug the USB cable from the scanner into the USB port.
- The operating system will automatically detect and install the necessary generic drivers. This process may take a few moments.
- Once installed, the scanner is ready for use.
Configuration (Optional):
The scanner can be configured by scanning specific barcodes found in the setup manual. Below are some common configuration options. To apply a setting, simply scan the corresponding barcode.

The scanner supports various language settings. Refer to the full setup manual for specific barcodes to configure the desired language (e.g., America, Spain, Britain, Germany, Italy, France, Turkish-F, Canada, Turkish-Q).
4. Operating Instructions
Using the Fangtek barcode scanner is straightforward. Once connected and configured, it functions like a keyboard input device.
Scanning a Barcode:
- Ensure the scanner is connected to your computer and the application where you want the barcode data to appear (e.g., a text editor, spreadsheet, or POS software) is active.
- Point the scanner's window at the barcode you wish to scan.
- Press and hold the yellow trigger button. A red laser line will emit from the scanner.
- Align the red laser line across the entire barcode.
- Upon successful scan, the scanner will emit a beep (if sound is enabled) and the data from the barcode will appear in your active application.

5. Maintenance
