Setup and Installation
- Insert Micro SD Card: Before installation, ensure the 16GB Micro SD card is properly inserted into the designated slot on the HD Mirror Cam.
- Mounting the Mirror Cam: Position the HD Mirror Cam over your existing rearview mirror. Secure it in place by attaching the two soft bands around your existing mirror. Ensure the device is firmly attached and does not obstruct your view.
- Cable Management: Route the power cable from the HD Mirror Cam along the edge of your windshield. Use the provided adhesive wire clips to secure the cable neatly and prevent it from interfering with driving.
- Power Connection: Plug the car adapter into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). The device will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on, provided the Micro SD card is inserted.

Operating Instructions
Automatic Recording and Motion Detection
The HD Mirror Cam is designed for convenience. It automatically starts recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on (with the Micro SD card inserted) and stops recording when the ignition is turned off. For added security, the built-in Motion Detection sensors can trigger recording even when the vehicle is parked, capturing any activity or vibration around your car.

LCD Display and Night Vision
The 2.5" LCD Playback Screen features an Ambient Light Sensor that adjusts the display brightness based on surrounding light conditions, ensuring clear visibility at all times. For night driving, the exclusive Night Vision LEDs provide enhanced clarity and safety.

Instant Playback and Photo Snap
Footage can be viewed instantly on the unit's LCD screen. To download recordings, remove the Micro SD card and use the included card reader to transfer files to a computer. The device also features a One-Touch Photo Snap function, allowing you to quickly capture still images, such as a license plate.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the HD Mirror Cam and the LCD screen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device.
- SD Card Management: Regularly back up important footage from your Micro SD card to a computer. Periodically format the Micro SD card (at least once a month) within the device's settings to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for extended periods.
- Secure Mounting: Periodically check that the soft bands securing the mirror cam are still tight and the device is securely mounted to prevent vibrations or detachment during driving.
