Thank you for purchasing the Toshiba FRC-204T LED Ceiling Light Remote Control. This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient use of your remote control. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference.
This remote control is designed for use with compatible Toshiba LED ceiling lights that support dimming and color tuning functions.
2. Safety Information
- Battery Safety: Always insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
- Usage Environment: Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, or dust. Avoid dropping the remote control or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote control. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Gently slide open the battery cover located on the back of the remote control.
- Insert two (2) AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

4.2 Wall Mount Installation
- Choose a convenient location on a wall where you can easily access the remote control.
- Using the provided screws, securely attach the wall mount bracket to the desired location. Ensure the bracket is level.
- Place the remote control into the installed wall mount bracket.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Button Functions Overview

- シーン (Scene): Cycles through pre-set lighting scenes.
- 全光 (Full Light): Turns on the light at maximum brightness and a standard color temperature.
- 常夜灯 (Night Light): Activates a low-brightness night light mode.
- 消灯 (Off): Turns off the ceiling light.
- メモリ (Memory): Saves the current light color and brightness settings. Press and hold to save.
- 30分切 (30-minute timer): Sets a timer for the light to turn off automatically after 30 minutes.
- 光色 (Light Color) ▲/▼: Adjusts the color temperature of the light (e.g., from warm white to cool white). ▲ for cooler, ▼ for warmer.
- 明るさ (Brightness) ▲/▼: Adjusts the brightness level of the light. ▲ for brighter, ▼ for dimmer.
- 本体チャンネル切り替え (Main Unit Channel Switching) 1/2: Selects the operating channel for the remote control to match the ceiling light.
5.2 Basic Operation
- Turning On/Off: Press the 全光 (Full Light) button to turn on the light or the 消灯 (Off) button to turn it off.
- Adjusting Brightness: Use the 明るさ (Brightness) ▲ button to increase brightness and 明るさ (Brightness) ▼ button to decrease brightness.
- Adjusting Light Color: Use the 光色 (Light Color) ▲ button to make the light cooler (more bluish) and 光色 (Light Color) ▼ button to make it warmer (more yellowish).
- Using Night Light: Press the 常夜灯 (Night Light) button to activate a low-level light suitable for night use.
- Setting a Timer: Press the 30分切 (30-minute timer) button to set the light to automatically turn off after 30 minutes.
- Saving/Recalling Memory: Adjust the light to your desired brightness and color. Press and hold the メモリ (Memory) button to save the setting. Press it briefly to recall the saved setting.
5.3 Channel Switching
If you have multiple Toshiba LED ceiling lights or experience interference, you may need to adjust the remote control's channel to match your specific ceiling light unit.
- Locate the 本体チャンネル切り替え (Main Unit Channel Switching) switch on the remote control.
- Slide the switch to either position 1 or 2.
- Refer to your ceiling light's manual for instructions on how to set its corresponding channel. Ensure the remote control and the ceiling light are set to the same channel for proper operation.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Replacement: When the remote control's range decreases or it becomes unresponsive, replace both AAA batteries with new ones. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1.
- Storage: Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
