  2. Place Plastic Escutcheon: Position the plastic escutcheon on the sink deck, ensuring the side with the stick-out faces up towards the faucet.
  3. Install Faucet Body: Insert the faucet body through the holes in the escutcheon and sink.
  4. Secure Faucet: From underneath the sink, tighten the mounting nuts onto the faucet shanks to secure the faucet to the sink. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a snug fit.
  5. Connect Supply Lines: Connect the hot and cold faucet supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet body. Use plumber's tape on the threads and tighten securely with a wrench. Connect the other ends to your hot and cold water supply valves.
  6. Install Pop-up Drain:
    1. Disassemble the pop-up drain, ensuring the sealing gasket, mounting gasket, and locking nut are ready.
    2. Place the sealing gasket on the top of the drain hole.
    3. Slide the drain body through the drain hole from the top.
    4. From underneath the sink, place the mounting gasket and screw the locking nut onto the drain body. Hand-tighten to ensure a leak-free seal.
    5. The pop-up drain is compatible only with sinks that have an overflow hole.
  7. Check for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for any signs of leaks. Tighten any leaking connections as needed.

7. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your PARLOS faucet.

Cleaning Instructions:

  • Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Use mild soap and water if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the brushed nickel finish.
  • Wipe the faucet dry after each use to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.

Aerator Maintenance:

  • If water flow decreases or becomes irregular, the aerator may be clogged with debris.
  • Unscrew the aerator from the spout.
