4. Setup
4.1 Powering the Clock
The clock operates primarily on AC power. It also features a battery backup system to maintain time and alarm settings during power outages.
- Connect to AC Power: Plug the integrated power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. The LED display will illuminate.
- Install Battery Backup (Optional but Recommended):
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one 9V battery (not included) into the compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The battery backup ensures that the time and alarm settings are preserved for up to 8 hours during a power outage, though the display will not be illuminated.

5. Operating Instructions
The control buttons are located on the top and back of the clock for easy access.

5.1 Setting the Time
- Locate the SET TIME button on the back of the clock.
- Press and hold the SET TIME button. The hour digits on the display will begin to flash.
- While holding SET TIME, press the HR button repeatedly to advance the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- Release the SET TIME button, then press and hold it again. The minute digits will flash.
- While holding SET TIME, press the MIN button repeatedly to advance the minutes.
- Release the SET TIME button to save the current time.
5.2 Setting the Alarm
- Locate the SET ALARM button on the back of the clock.
- Press and hold the SET ALARM button. The alarm hour digits on the display will begin to flash, and the AL indicator will light up.
- While holding SET ALARM, press the HR button repeatedly to set the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- Release the SET ALARM button, then press and hold it again. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- While holding SET ALARM, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the alarm minutes.
- Release the SET ALARM button to save the alarm time.
5.3 Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
Use the ALARM OFF/ON slide switch on the back of the clock to enable or disable the alarm function.
- Slide to ON: The AL indicator on the display will light up, indicating the alarm is active.
- Slide to OFF: The AL indicator will turn off, indicating the alarm is deactivated.
5.4 Using the Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE bar located on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
5.5 Nightlight Function
The clock features a built-in nightlight. Use the LIGHT slide switch on the back of the clock to turn the nightlight on or off.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Unplug the clock from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the clock with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
6.2 Battery Replacement
