Flossing Technique

Lean over a sink and place the tip in your mouth. Close your lips enough to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink. Turn the unit ON. Direct the water stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. Follow the gumline and pause briefly between teeth. Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth. The 5-ounce reservoir provides approximately 30 seconds of flossing time.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit

After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir. It is recommended to rinse the reservoir with clean water. The reservoir is top-rack dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.

Replacing Batteries

The unit uses 3 AA replaceable batteries. Assuming once-a-day use, replace batteries every 1 to 2 months, depending on the quality of batteries. If the water pressure weakens, it may be an indication that the batteries need replacement.
