3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your IG INGLAM Hair Dryer for first use:

1. Unpack the Dryer: Carefully remove the hair dryer and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components are present, including the hair dryer unit and the two concentrator nozzles.

2. Attach Nozzles (Optional): Select the desired concentrator nozzle (smoothing or styling) and firmly attach it to the front of the hair dryer. The nozzles are designed to snap securely into place.
3. Connect to Power: Unwind the power cord and plug the ALCL safety plug into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet voltage matches the specifications of the hair dryer.

1. Power On/Off: Locate the speed switch on the handle. Slide it to position '1' for Low speed or '2' for High speed to turn the dryer on. Slide it to '0' to turn the dryer off.
2. Adjust Heat Settings: Use the heat switch, typically located above the speed switch. Select from 'Cool' (no heat), 'Warm' (medium heat), or 'Hot' (high heat) according to your preference and hair type.
3. Use Cool Shot: Press and hold the 'Cool Shot' button (usually a separate button) to instantly deliver a burst of cool air. This is ideal for setting your hairstyle after drying. Release the button to return to the selected heat setting.
4. Using Concentrator Nozzles:
   • Smoothing Nozzle: Provides a wide, gentle airflow, ideal for general drying and smoothing hair.

5. Drying Technique: Hold the dryer approximately 6-8 inches away from your hair. Move the dryer continuously to prevent overheating any single section of hair.

1. Cleaning the Removable Air Filter:

   • Replace the filter cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
