4. Assembly Instructions
Assemble the gravel cleaner according to your desired function and tank depth. The telescopic cleaning tube extends from 23.6 inches (60 cm) to 37.7 inches (96 cm) to accommodate water depths from 13.7 inches (35 cm) to 47.2 inches (120 cm).
- Connect Extension Tubes: Attach the required number of extension tubes to the main pump unit to achieve the appropriate length for your aquarium depth. Ensure they are securely locked.
- Attach Desired Head: Select the appropriate cleaning head (e.g., sand washer, duckbill suction, cleaning brush) and attach it to the end of the extension tube.
- Connect Water Pipe: Attach the 5.2ft water pipe (hose) to the outlet of the pump unit. For water changes, direct the other end into a bucket or drain. For water showering, attach the elbow shower head.
- Install Filter Bag (if applicable): For debris removal and filtration, attach the filter bag to the designated outlet on the pump unit.
- Secure Power Connection: Connect the power switch to the main unit and then to the power cable.

5. Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Ensure the cleaner is correctly assembled for your task.
- Place the pump unit fully into the aquarium water. The pump must be completely submerged before powering on.
- Plug the power cable into a 110V electrical outlet.
- Turn on the power switch.
- Adjust the flow valve if necessary to control suction strength.
- After use, turn off the power switch and unplug the device.

Water Changing and Debris Removal
Use the cleaner to efficiently remove water and debris from your aquarium.
- Attach the water pipe and direct it to a waste bucket or drain.
- Submerge the pump and turn it on.
- Move the cleaning head over the gravel or substrate to vacuum fish waste, uneaten food, and other debris.
- Monitor the water level and turn off the pump before your waste container overflows.

Sand Washing
The sand washing head allows for cleaning sand and fine gravel without excessive suction of the substrate itself.
- Attach the sand washing head.
- Gently move the head just above or lightly into the sand/gravel. The suction will lift debris while allowing heavier substrate to fall back down.
Water Showering
The elbow shower head can be used to gently return clean water to the tank or for other showering purposes.
- Attach the elbow shower head to the pump outlet.
- Submerge the pump in a clean water source (e.g., a bucket of treated water) and turn it on.
- Direct the shower head into the aquarium to gently add water.

6. Maintenance
