1. Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as the S412.
2. Enter the IP address of the S412 into the browser's address bar.
3. Log in using the default administrator credentials (refer to your quick start guide for default username and password).

3.2 Key Operational Features

• Extension Management: Create, modify, and delete analog and VoIP extensions. Configure voicemail, call forwarding, and other extension-specific settings.
• Trunk Configuration: Set up and manage VoIP trunks (SIP, IAX2) and analog PSTN trunks for external calls.
• Call Routing: Define inbound and outbound routes, IVRs (Interactive Voice Response), call queues, and ring groups to manage call flow efficiently.
• Mobility: Utilize the Linkus Mobile Client to turn your Android or iOS mobile phone into an office extension, enabling communication on the go.
• Auto Provisioning: The system supports automatic provisioning for various IP phone brands, simplifying deployment.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the optimal performance and longevity of your YEASTAR S412 PBX. This includes routine checks, software updates, and proper environmental care.

4.1 Firmware Updates

Periodically check the YEASTAR official website for the latest firmware updates. Firmware updates often include bug fixes, security enhancements, and new features. Always back up your configuration before performing a firmware upgrade.

4.2 System Backup and Restore

Regularly back up your PBX configuration. This allows for quick recovery in case of data loss or system malfunction. The web interface provides options to create and restore system backups.

4.3 Environmental Care

• Keep the device in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
• Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture.
