Setup
- Battery Installation: Each walkie talkie requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).
- Remove the belt clip by pushing up on the release tab and sliding it off.
- Gently pry open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and reattach the belt clip.
- Attaching Lanyard: If desired, thread the lanyard through the small loop located near the top of the walkie talkie, often underneath where the belt clip attaches.

Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button (power icon) for a few seconds to turn the unit on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate.
- Adjust Volume: Use the Up (up arrow) and Down (down arrow) buttons to adjust the speaker volume.
- Change Channel: Press the MENU button to enter channel selection mode. Use the Up and Down buttons to select one of the 22 available channels. Press MENU again to confirm your selection. Both walkie talkies must be on the same channel to communicate.
- Push-to-Talk (PTT): To transmit your voice, press and hold the large PTT button on the side of the walkie talkie. Speak clearly into the microphone (located near the top of the unit). Release the PTT button to listen.
- Flashlight: Press the Light button (lightbulb icon) to turn the built-in flashlight on or off.
- VOX Hands-Free: The walkie talkies support VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) for hands-free communication. Refer to the detailed user manual for activation and sensitivity settings.
- Key Lock: To prevent accidental changes to settings, press and hold the MENU button until the key lock icon appears on the screen. Repeat to unlock.

Maintenance
