3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
Each Aikmi T-339 walkie talkie requires 3 AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the walkie talkie.
- Press down on the clip and slide the back cover downwards to open the compartment.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, matching the (+) and (-) symbols inside the compartment.
- Replace the back cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power On/Off Button until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power On/Off Button until the LCD screen turns off.
4.2 Adjusting Volume
- Press the Up Button to increase the volume.
- Press the Down Button to decrease the volume.
4.3 Channel Selection
The walkie talkies operate on 22 available channels. For communication, both walkie talkies must be set to the same channel.
- Press the MENU Button once. The channel number on the LCD screen will flash.
- Use the Up Button or Down Button to select your desired channel (1-22).
- Press the MENU Button again or wait a few seconds for the selection to be confirmed.
4.4 Transmitting and Receiving
- To transmit: Press and hold the PTT Button. Speak clearly into the microphone.
- To receive: Release the PTT Button. The walkie talkie will automatically receive transmissions on the selected channel.
4.5 VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) Function
The VOX function allows for hands-free communication. When activated, the walkie talkie will automatically transmit when it detects your voice.
- Press the MENU Button multiple times until the VOX icon (usually 'VOX') appears on the LCD screen and flashes.
- Use the Up Button or Down Button to select the VOX sensitivity level (e.g., OF for off, 1-3 for sensitivity levels).
- Press the MENU Button again or wait a few seconds to confirm.
