1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use of your GERCHWAY Tire Inflator with Pressure Gauge. This device is designed for accurate tire pressure measurement, inflation, and deflation, ensuring optimal tire performance and safety.

2. Safety Information

Always observe the following safety precautions when operating the tire inflator:

4. Setup

  1. Connect the Quick-Connector: Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the ¼ NPT quick-connector. Screw the quick-connector securely into the air inlet of the tire inflator.
  2. Connect to Air Compressor: Attach the quick-connector on the inflator to your air compressor's output hose. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leaks.

  3. Attach Air Chuck to Tire Valve: The inflator comes with a secure air chuck designed for a tight seal. For standard valves, simply press the chuck onto the tire valve stem. The 360° swivel air chuck allows for easy access to valve stems from various angles.

    For truck tires or hard-to-reach inner valves, utilize the included dual head air chuck by screwing it onto the hose end. This removable air chuck provides versatility for various tire types.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Checking Tire Pressure

With the air chuck securely attached to the tire valve, the pressure gauge will display the current tire pressure. The gauge is designed for high accuracy, especially for tires typically running between 35 to 50 PSI, with an optimal range up to 100 PSI and an accuracy of ±2 PSI (2% FS).

5.2. Inflating Tires

Once the air chuck is connected, press the trigger on the inflator handle to begin adding air. Monitor the pressure gauge until the desired PSI is reached. Release the trigger to stop inflation.

5.3. Deflating Tires

If a tire is over-inflated, use the integrated bleed valve (typically a small button or lever near the trigger) to release air until the correct pressure is achieved. The gauge will provide real-time readings during deflation.

5.4. Glow-in-the-Dark Feature

The analog gauge features a glow-in-the-dark dial, allowing for easy readability in low-light conditions without the need for batteries.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the inflator with a clean, dry cloth after each use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
