1. Introduction

2. Compatibility

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your new Ewatchparts leather watch band:

1. Prepare Your Watch: Place your watch face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Remove Old Watch Band (if applicable): Use a spring bar tool (not included) to compress the spring bars holding your old watch band in place. Carefully remove the old strap pieces.
3. Attach the Deployment Clasp to the Shorter Strap Piece: The butterfly deployment clasp typically attaches to the shorter strap piece. Slide the pin of the clasp through the hole at the end of the shorter strap piece and secure it. Ensure the clasp is oriented correctly so it will close properly when worn.
4. Install the Shorter Strap Piece: Insert one end of a spring bar into a lug hole on your watch case. Compress the other end of the spring bar with your tool and guide it into the opposite lug hole. Gently tug on the strap to ensure it is securely seated.
5. Install the Longer Strap Piece: Repeat the process for the longer strap piece on the other side of your watch case. This piece will have the holes for adjusting the length.
6. Attach the Deployment Clasp to the Longer Strap Piece: Once both strap pieces are attached to the watch, feed the longer strap piece through the deployment clasp. Adjust the length by selecting the appropriate hole on the longer strap piece and securing it with the clasp's pin.

5. Operating the Deployment Clasp

The butterfly deployment clasp provides a secure and comfortable fit while extending the life of your leather strap by reducing wear on the buckle holes.

1. Opening the Clasp: To open, gently press the two small buttons on the sides of the clasp. The clasp will spring open, allowing you to remove or put on your watch.
2. Closing the Clasp: To close, bring the two ends of the clasp together until they click securely into place. Ensure both sides are fully engaged.
3. Adjusting Length: The length of the strap is adjusted by selecting one of the pre-punched holes on the longer strap piece. Once the desired length is set, the clasp will maintain this adjustment, making it easy to put on and take off your watch without re-buckling.
