1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your DNA MOTORING HL-3D-E9005-BK-M-NEW M-style Black Housing U-Halo Projector Headlights with Amber Turn Signals. These headlights are compatible with 2005-2008 BMW 3-Series 4-Door Sedan models (323i, 325i, 325xi, 328i, 328xi, 330i, 330xi, 335xi) that originally came with Halogen Headlights. Designed for direct bolt-on OE fitment, they require no modification or drilling.

2. Safety Warnings

Please read and understand all safety warnings before proceeding with installation or operation.

• If you experience any difficulties that the instructions did not cover, please seek assistance at a local automotive shop.
• Please wear proper protective equipment before you work on any vehicle.
• An assistant is recommended when removing the front bumper from your vehicle.
• Please be cautious when working with the bumper or any parts belonging to the vehicle's body to prevent scratching.
• Do not make direct contact with the halogen bulbs or the wire assembly until the unit has cooled down after use.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all items are present and undamaged before beginning installation.

• 1 X Pair of Headlights (Left & Right)

4. Setup & Installation

Professional installation is highly recommended. Refer to the video below for a detailed installation guide.

Installation Overview:

1. Raise the vehicle's hood.
2. Remove engine splash shield mounting bolts (eleven 8mm bolts).
3. Remove wheel fender liner mounting bolts (two 8mm, one 8mm, and one 10mm with two 8mm).
4. Remove the wheel fender liner and disconnect its connector.
5. Remove front bumper mounting bolts (two 8mm bolts).
6. Disconnect the fog light harness. Repeat fender liner and bumper steps for the opposite side.
7. Remove the four T30 bolts at the top of the front bumper.
8. Carefully remove the front bumper.
9. Loosen the wire harness on the existing headlight housing.
10. Remove the T30 headlights mounting bolt at the back.
11. Remove the two T30 headlights mounting bolts at the front.
12. Remove the two T30 headlights mounting bolts at the top.
13. Unseat the headlight housing and disconnect all headlight harnesses.
14. Remove the T30 headlights bracket mounting bolt at the side.
15. Remove the T30 headlights bracket mounting bolt at the bottom and detach the bracket.
16. Remove the headlight rubber molding from the stock headlight.
17. Reinstall the headlights bracket to the new headlight housing.
18. Reinstall the T30 headlights bracket mounting bolt at the bottom.
19. Reinstall the T30 headlights bracket mounting bolt at the side.
20. Reinstall the headlight rubber molding to the new headlight housing.
21. Reconnect the headlight harness and carefully seat the new headlight assembly in place.
22. Reinstall all removed bolts and components in reverse order.
23. Close the hood to complete the installation.

5. Operating Instructions

Your DNA MOTORING headlights feature advanced lighting technology for enhanced visibility and style.

• 3D Crystal Multi-Color LED U-Halo Lights: These U-Halo lights increase visibility of road markings and traffic signs. They can be controlled via a cell phone app for 16.8 million color RGB LED options.
• LED Turn Signal Light: Features an M-style eyelid appearance design with amber LED turn signals.
• Projector Low Beam (H7) / High Beam (H1): Provides clear and focused illumination.

Light Features:

• LED 3D U-Halo Running Light: Provides a distinctive daytime running light signature.
• LED Turn Signal Light: Enhances signaling visibility.
• M-style Eyelid Appearance: Adds a modern and aggressive look to your vehicle.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your headlights.

• Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and mild soap solution to clean the polycarbonate lens. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the surface.
• Inspection: Periodically check for any signs of moisture inside the housing or damage to the lens. The headlights are vacuum tested to ensure they are air-tight and water resistant.
• Bulb Replacement: For H7 Low Beam and H1 High Beam bulbs, consult a professional if replacement is needed.

7. Troubleshooting
