1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Battery Safety: Use only the specified battery type (1 AA battery). Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Insert batteries with correct polarity (+ and -). Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
• Mounting: Ensure the wall surface is suitable and strong enough to support the clock. Use appropriate mounting hardware (not included) for your wall type. Improper mounting can lead to the clock falling and causing injury or damage.
• Placement: Avoid placing the clock in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this may affect its accuracy or material integrity. Keep out of reach of small children and pets.
• Handling: The clock hands can be delicate. Handle them with care during assembly and time setting to prevent bending or damage.

3. Setup and Assembly

The Karlsson Wall Clock requires assembly. Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Prepare the Wall: Choose a suitable location on your wall. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
2. Install Battery: Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock mechanism. Insert 1 AA battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
3. Mount the Clock Mechanism:
   • Determine the desired height for the center of your clock.
   • Securely mount the clock mechanism to the wall using appropriate wall anchors and screws (not included). Ensure it is level and stable.

4. Position the Decorative Blocks:
   • The clock is designed to allow you to "make the clock as big as you want" by adjusting the spacing of the blocks.
   • Use the provided template (if applicable) or measure equal distances from the center mechanism to place the 12 multicolored blocks. The blocks represent the hour markers.
   • Adhere the blocks to the wall using suitable adhesive or mounting strips (not included). Ensure they are evenly spaced and aligned to form a clear clock face.

4. Operating Instructions

Once assembled, operating your Karlsson Wall Clock is straightforward:

1. Setting the Time:
   • Locate the time-setting knob or wheel on the back of the clock mechanism.
   • Gently turn the knob/wheel clockwise until the hour and minute hands display the correct time. Avoid moving the hands directly, as this can damage the movement.
2. Silent Operation: This clock features a silent movement, ensuring no ticking sounds for a peaceful environment.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Karlsson Wall Clock:

• Cleaning: Wipe the clock mechanism and decorative blocks with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the AA battery annually, or when the clock begins to lose time or stops functioning. Always dispose of used batteries responsibly.
• Hand Care: The clock hands are delicate. Avoid touching or bending them unnecessarily.
