Setup
The Pikk-it tool requires no assembly or batteries. It is ready for immediate use upon unboxing. Its compact and lightweight design ensures easy handling and storage.
Operating Instructions
The Pikk-it is designed for simple and effective hair and fiber removal. Always exercise caution as the tool features sharp teeth.
1. Cleaning Hairbrushes
Hold the Pikk-it by its handle grip. Gently run the tool's teeth through the bristles of your hairbrush, starting from the base and moving outwards. The teeth are designed to catch and pull out trapped hair and fibers. Use the hook end to unpick any stubborn tangles or larger clumps of hair.

2. Cleaning Vacuum Cleaner Roller Brushes
Important: Always unplug your vacuum cleaner before attempting to clean the roller brush to prevent accidental activation and injury. If possible, detach the roller brush from the vacuum cleaner for easier access.
Hold the Pikk-it firmly by its handle. Run the tool's teeth through the tangled hair and fibers on the vacuum roller brush. The sharp teeth will cut through and loosen the hair, making it easy to pull away. The hook end is particularly effective for picking out stubborn fibers and larger accumulations of debris. The handle of the Pikk-it also doubles as a faceplate release tool for some vacuum models, allowing quick access to the roller brush.

Maintenance
The Pikk-it tool is designed for durability and easy cleaning. After each use, simply wipe the tool clean with a damp cloth to remove any residual hair or debris. For a more thorough cleaning, you may wash it with mild soap and water, then dry it completely before storage. Regular cleaning of your Pikk-it will ensure its continued effectiveness.
Troubleshooting
The Pikk-it is a simple mechanical tool, and issues are rare. If you encounter difficulty:
- Hair not coming out easily: Ensure you are applying firm but gentle pressure. For very dense tangles, try working in smaller sections or using the hook end to loosen the hair first.
- Tool feels dull: The zinc alloy teeth are designed for durability. If the tool appears less effective over time, ensure it is clean and free of any lodged debris.
- Damage to brush/vacuum: Always use the tool carefully and avoid excessive force, especially on delicate bristles or vacuum components.
