Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your SUPER DEAL Upgraded 300W Electric Ice Shaver. Please read these instructions thoroughly before first use and retain them for future reference. This electric ice shaver is designed for quickly producing shaved ice for snow cones, frozen drinks, and other icy treats.
Important Safety Instructions
- Electrical Safety: Always plug the unit into a grounded electrical outlet. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces. Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids.
- Blade Safety: The shaving blade is extremely sharp. Exercise extreme caution when handling or cleaning the blade. Keep fingers and hands clear of the blade area during operation and cleaning.
- Operation: Ensure the hopper handle is securely closed before turning on the machine. The machine is designed with a safety switch that prevents operation when the handle is open. Do not force ice into the hopper. Use only ice cubes or small ice chunks.
- Supervision: This appliance is not intended for use by children. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
- Placement: Operate the ice shaver on a stable, flat, and dry surface.

Operating Instructions
- Prepare Ice: Use standard ice cubes or small ice chunks. For best results, avoid using large, irregularly shaped ice blocks that may not fit properly or could strain the motor.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Unplug: Always unplug the ice shaver from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the machine. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Clean Hopper and Blade Area: Carefully wipe the inside of the ice hopper and around the blade area with a damp cloth. Be extremely cautious of the sharp blade.
- Wash Bowl: The stainless steel serving bowl can be washed with warm, soapy water and rinsed thoroughly.
- Dry: Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing the machine or using it again.
Storage
Store the ice shaver in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
- Machine Does Not Turn On:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify that the hopper handle is fully closed. The machine has a safety interlock that prevents operation if the handle is not properly seated.
- Ice Not Shaving Properly (Coarse or Uneven Ice):
- Ensure you are applying consistent downward pressure on the hopper handle.
- Check the type of ice being used. Very soft or slushy ice may not shave well. Use firm, solid ice cubes.
- Inspect the blade for any damage or dullness. If the blade is dull, contact customer support for assistance.
- Excessive Noise or Vibration:
- Ensure the machine is placed on a stable and level surface.
- Check if the ice is properly loaded and not jammed in the hopper.
- If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
