1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your HENYIN Digital Door Lock, Model HENYIN6300. This advanced lock offers multiple access methods for enhanced security and convenience.

• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the lock yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.

4. Installation Guide

Before installation, ensure your door is prepared according to the drilling template. This lock requires an extra small hole on top for the data line and fitting screws.

4.1. Handle Direction Reversal

The lock's handle orientation is reversible. If you need to change it from the default right-hand direction to left-hand, use the provided Allen key to remove the screw in the handle. Pull the handle out, rotate it 180 degrees, and then reinstall it.

4.2. Step-by-Step Installation

1. Install Latch: Select the appropriate latch (2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset) for your door. Insert it into the door edge and secure it with two screws.
2. Install Front Panel: Install the three bolt screw tubes onto the front panel. Insert the spindle through the latch and fasten it with the small pin found in the screw bag.
3. Place Rubber Cushion: Place the rubber cushion under the front panel. Ensure the spindle goes through the latch and the data line passes through the door hole.
4. Connect Data Line and Back Panel: Place the second rubber cushion under the back panel. Connect the data line between the front and back panels. Ensure both panels are tight against the door.
5. Secure and Power: Fix the back panel with three screws. Install four AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery case. Close the battery case and secure it with the small screw.
6. Test Mechanical Key: Remove the keyhole cover. Insert a mechanical key and turn it to test if the lock opens smoothly. Make any necessary adjustments.
7. Test Default Code: Input the default factory code 123456#. Turn the handle to verify if the lock opens.
8. Reset if Necessary: If the default code does not work, remove the battery case. Press and hold the reset button (located near the batteries) for 6 seconds to reset the lock. Then, re-test the default code 123456#.

5. Operating Instructions

This lock supports up to 100 codes, 800 M1 cards, and 120 remote controls.

5.1. Programming the Lock

It is essential to change the initial administrator code before adding any users.

1. Change Administrator Code:
   • Input: *# (initial admin code, e.g., 123456) #1
   • Input a new admin code (6-10 digits) #
   • Input the new admin code again #
   • The system will alert "Successful" upon completion.
2. Add Code Users:
   • Input: *# (new admin code) #2
   • Input a new user code (6-10 digits) #
   • Input the new user code again #
   • The system will alert "Successful" upon completion. Repeat for additional code users.
3. Add Card Users:
   • Input: *# (new admin code) #2
   • Place an M1 card on the keypad.
   • The system will alert "Successful" upon completion. Repeat for additional card users.
4. Add Remote Control Users:
   • Input: *# (new admin code) #2
   • Press the unlock button on the remote control.
   • The system will alert "Successful" upon completion. Repeat for additional remote controls.

5.2. Passage Mode

When passage mode is enabled, the lock will not automatically lock after being opened once. This is useful for busy doors where frequent entry is required without re-entering a code.

5.3. Voice Navigation

The lock features voice navigation during operation and programming, simplifying the user experience.

6. Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: The lock will alarm when the battery voltage drops below 4.8V. Replace all four AA alkaline batteries promptly.
• Emergency Access: In case of a completely dead battery, use the mechanical keys to open the door. The keyhole cover can be removed using the provided plastic suction disc or a magnet.
• Cleaning: Clean the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7. Troubleshooting

• Lock does not respond: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the data line connection is secure.
• Code not working: Verify the code is entered correctly. If using the default code, try the reset procedure (Section 4.2, Step 8). Ensure the admin code has been changed if attempting to add users.
• Card or Remote not working: Ensure the card/remote has been properly programmed (Section 5.1). Check the remote control battery.
• Handle turns but door does not open: This indicates a mechanical issue. Ensure the latch is installed correctly and the spindle is properly engaged. Use the mechanical key for emergency access and contact support.
