1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Amzparts RCD360/RCD330 Car Radio. This MIB car radio is designed to enhance your driving experience with modern connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with traditional radio and media playback options. It is compatible with various Volkswagen models including Golf 5, 6, MK5, MK6, Polo, Passat B6, B7, and CC.

4. Installation

The Amzparts RCD360/RCD330 car radio is designed for a plug-and-play installation in compatible Volkswagen models. Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected before beginning the installation process.

4.1 Installation Steps

1. Carefully remove the existing car radio unit from your vehicle's dashboard. This typically involves prying off trim pieces and unscrewing the old unit.
2. Disconnect all cables from the old unit.
3. Connect the vehicle's wiring harness to the corresponding ports on the rear of the new Amzparts RCD360/RCD330 unit. Ensure all connections are secure.
4. If installing a rear view camera, connect the AV to MIB adapter to the appropriate input on the radio and route the camera signal cable.
5. Connect the radio antenna adapter.
6. Carefully slide the new unit into the dashboard opening and secure it with screws.
7. Reattach any trim pieces removed during the process.
8. Reconnect the vehicle's battery and test the unit.

5. Initial Setup

After successful installation, power on the unit by turning on your vehicle's ignition. The unit will typically display a welcome screen.

5.1 Language Selection

Upon first use or after a factory reset, you may be prompted to select a language. Navigate through the options using the touchscreen or physical buttons and select your preferred language (e.g., English (US)).

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

To pair your mobile device via Bluetooth:

1. Go to the "Phone" or "Bluetooth" section on the radio's interface.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and set it to discoverable mode.
3. On the radio, search for available devices. Select your mobile device from the list.
4. Confirm the pairing code on both the radio and your mobile device.
5. Once paired, your phone will automatically connect when in range and the radio is on.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Radio Function

Press the "RADIO" button to access the FM/AM tuner. Use the touchscreen or tuning knobs to select stations. You can save your favorite stations as presets for quick access.

6.2 Media Playback

Press the "MEDIA" button to switch between various audio sources:

• USB: Connect a USB drive containing audio files to the USB port.
• SD Card: Insert an SD card with audio files into the SD card slot.
• Bluetooth Audio (BT Audio): Stream audio wirelessly from your paired mobile device.

Once your phone is paired via Bluetooth, you can access phone functions directly from the radio:

6.4 App-Connect (Apple CarPlay / Android Auto / MirrorLink)

The unit supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink for seamless smartphone integration. To use these features, connect your smartphone to the radio's USB port using a certified USB cable.

• Apple CarPlay: Access navigation, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music directly from your iPhone.
• Android Auto: Use Google Maps, Waze, make calls, send messages, and play music from your Android device.
• MirrorLink: Mirror your smartphone screen to the radio display (compatibility varies by phone model).
