2. Important Safety Information

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Tools Required

3.2 Pre-Installation Checklist

1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker before starting installation.
2. Unpack all components and inspect for any damage.
3. Ensure all parts listed in the package contents are present.

3.3 Mounting Instructions

1. Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
2. Adjust the chain length to achieve the desired hanging height for the chandelier. Secure the chain to the canopy and the fixture loop.
3. Thread the fixture wires through the chain and canopy.

3.4 Wiring Instructions

1. Connect the bare copper ground wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper ground wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
2. Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
3. Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
4. Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
5. Secure the canopy to the mounting bracket using the decorative nuts.

4. Operation

4.1 Light Bulb Installation

This chandelier requires five (5) E26 Medium base light bulbs, each with a maximum wattage of 100 watts. Light bulbs are not included and must be purchased separately.

1. Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker.
2. Carefully screw the E26 Medium base bulbs into the sockets until snug. Do not overtighten.

4.2 Powering On/Off

Once installation is complete and bulbs are installed, restore power at the circuit breaker. The chandelier can then be operated using your wall switch (toggle type) or compatible dimmer switch.

4.3 Dimmer Compatibility

The ML Lighting 1465-RBZ chandelier is compatible with standard wall dimmers. For optimal performance and to avoid flickering, ensure that the light bulbs you choose are also dimmable and compatible with your dimmer switch.

5. Care and Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Always disconnect power before cleaning.
• To clean the metal parts, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes as they may damage the finish.
• For glass shades, use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the fixture.
• Avoid getting moisture into any electrical components.

5.2 Bulb Replacement

• Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker and bulbs have cooled before attempting to replace them.
• Unscrew the old bulb counter-clockwise.
• Screw in the new E26 Medium base bulb clockwise until snug.
