Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

• The appliance features overheating protection. If it overheats, it will automatically shut off.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air fryer and all packaging materials from the box. Keep packaging for future storage or disposal.
2. Placement: Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space (at least 10 cm) around the appliance for proper air circulation. Do not place it near walls or other appliances that could be damaged by steam.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, thoroughly clean the removable container and basket with warm soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
4. First Use Cycle: To eliminate any initial "plastic" odor, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for approximately 10 minutes at 180°C (356°F) before cooking food. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet (220-240 V, 50/60 Hz).

Operating Instructions

The air fryer features an intuitive LED display and touch controls for easy operation:

• LED Display: Shows temperature and time settings.
• Temperature Control Buttons (+/-): Adjust temperature from 80°C to 200°C.
• Time Control Buttons (+/-): Adjust cooking time.
• Mode/Program Button (M): Cycle through 7 pre-set frying programs.
• Power Button: Turn the appliance on/off and start/pause cooking.

Cooking Process

1. Prepare Food: Place the food you wish to cook into the removable, non-stick coated container. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking. The capacity is 2.5 liters.

2. Insert Container: Slide the container back into the air fryer until it clicks securely into place. The appliance will not operate if the container is not properly inserted due to the safety switch.
3. Power On: Press the Power button to turn on the appliance. The LED display will illuminate.
4. Set Temperature and Time:
   • Manual Setting: Use the Temperature (+/-) buttons to set the desired cooking temperature (80°C-200°C) and the Time (+/-) buttons for the cooking duration.
   • Pre-set Programs: Press the Mode (M) button to cycle through the 7 pre-set programs:
     • Fries
     • Meat
     • Shrimp
     • Cake
     • Poultry
     • Steak
     • Fish
     Each program has a default temperature and time, which can be adjusted manually after selection if needed.
5. Start Cooking: Press the Power button again to start the cooking process. The fan and heating element will activate.
6. Shaking/Turning Food: For best results, especially with items like fries or chicken wings, it is recommended to shake or turn the food halfway through the cooking time. Carefully pull out the container using the Cool Touch-handle, shake the contents, and reinsert. The appliance will pause automatically when the container is removed and resume when reinserted.
7. Completion: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete. Carefully pull out the container and transfer the cooked food to a serving dish.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.

1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Removable Container: The non-stick coated container should be washed with warm soapy water after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaning materials or metal utensils that could damage the non-stick coating. It is recommended to hand wash.
3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
4. Interior: If necessary, wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles are left inside.
