2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to prevent injury or damage. This appliance is for household use only.

• Read all instructions carefully before operation.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the main unit in water or other liquid.

4. Setup

Before first use, wash all removable parts (Grill/Griddle Plate, Glass Lid, Oil Drip Tray, Water Tray) in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Wipe the main unit with a clean, damp cloth.

1. Place the Grill Base Unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
2. Slide the Water Tray into the base unit. Ensure it is properly seated.
3. Pour approximately 2 cups (470ml) of water into the Water Tray. This is crucial for the smokeless function.
4. Place the Oil Drip Tray on top of the Water Tray.
5. Insert the Heating Element into the designated slots on the base unit, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
6. Place either the Grill Plate or Griddle Plate on top of the Heating Element.
7. Attach the Glass Lid.
8. Plug the Detachable Power Cord into the unit, then into a standard 110V electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your PowerXL Smokeless Electric Grill is designed for versatile indoor cooking. Follow these steps for optimal results:

5.1. Powering On and Temperature Control

1. Ensure the unit is properly assembled and the Water Tray is filled.
2. Press the POWER button to turn on the grill. The fan will automatically activate.
3. Use the temperature dial to select your desired cooking temperature, ranging up to 450°F. The LED lights around the dial will indicate the selected temperature.
4. Allow the grill to preheat for 5-10 minutes until it reaches the set temperature.

5.2. Grilling and Griddling

Place your food directly onto the preheated Grill Plate or Griddle Plate. The non-stick Cerami-Tech coating ensures easy food release.

5.3. Smokeless Technology

The integrated Turbo Extraction Fan and the water in the Water Tray work together to capture and reduce smoke. Ensure the fan is always on during cooking for optimal smokeless performance.

The Oil Drip Tray collects fats and juices, preventing them from burning and creating smoke. This design contributes to a cleaner cooking environment and easier cleanup.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your PowerXL Smokeless Electric Grill.

1. Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the Grill/Griddle Plate, Glass Lid, Oil Drip Tray, and Water Tray.
