Operating Instructions

Once connected to the battery and AC power, the charger will automatically begin its 4-step charging process.

4-Step Charging Process:

  1. Diagnosis: The charger first analyzes the battery's condition and voltage. If the battery voltage is below 8V, the charger will not proceed for safety.
  2. Bulk Charge: Charges the battery at its maximum current until it reaches approximately 80% of its capacity.
  3. Absorption: Charges the battery at a decreasing current until it reaches 100% capacity.
  4. Maintenance (Float/Pulse): Once fully charged, the charger switches to maintenance mode, providing a small, constant current or pulse charge to keep the battery at optimal voltage without overcharging.

LED Indicators:

The charger features four LED indicators to display its status:

  • Power (Green LED): Illuminates when the charger is connected to AC power.
  • Charging (Red LED): Illuminates when the battery is actively charging.
  • Charged / Maintenance (Green LED): Illuminates when the battery is fully charged and the charger is in maintenance mode.
  • Reverse Polarity Connection (Red LED): Illuminates if the battery connections are reversed. Disconnect immediately and correct the polarity.
