4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

1. Connect the charger (Model 982-21) to a standard electrical outlet.
2. Insert the 18V Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (Model 982-5) into the charger.
3. Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger typically indicates full charge within 30 minutes.
4. Remove the battery from the charger once fully charged.

4.2 Loading a Sausage Pack

1. Ensure the gun is turned off and the trigger lock is engaged.
2. Unscrew the front cap of the gun barrel.
3. Insert the sausage pack into the barrel, ensuring it is fully seated.
4. Attach the appropriate piston (21-20 Teflon or 21-24 Hytrel) to the rear of the sausage pack.
5. Screw the front cap back onto the barrel securely.
6. Attach a 235-3 Disposable Orange Plastic Cone or other suitable nozzle to the front cap.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Operation

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted into the gun.
