3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the carrier.
  • Place the range on a level, non-combustible surface. The appliance is equipped with adjustable stainless steel legs to ensure stability and proper working height. Adjust the legs to level the unit.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 General Operation

Before initial use, ensure all protective films and packaging materials are removed. Clean the griddle and oven interior as recommended in the maintenance section.

4.2 Open Burner Operation

  • The open burners feature standing pilots for easy ignition.
  • To light a burner, push in and turn the corresponding control knob counter-clockwise to the 'ON' position. The pilot flame will ignite the burner.
  • Adjust the flame intensity by rotating the knob between 'HIGH' and 'LOW' settings.
  • To turn off, rotate the knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.

4.3 Griddle Operation

  • The 24-inch griddle is heated by a U-shape burner (27,000 BTU) and an I-shape burner (21,000 BTU).
  • To light the griddle burners, push in and turn the griddle control knobs counter-clockwise to the 'ON' position. The pilot flames will ignite the burners.
  • Allow the griddle to preheat for 15-20 minutes to achieve an even cooking temperature.
  • Adjust the heat as needed using the control knobs.
  • The griddle features a drip tray for collecting grease. Ensure it is properly installed and emptied regularly.

4.4 Oven Operation

  • The oven features a pilot with a safety shut-off. Refer to the oven lighting instructions label located inside the oven door for detailed ignition procedures.
  • To light the oven pilot, follow the instructions on the label. Once the pilot is lit, turn the oven thermostat knob to the desired temperature.
