This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your MENGQI-CONTROL 7-inch LCD Video Door Phone Intercom System. 3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Wiring the Access Control Keypad and Lock

4.1 Intercom Functionality

• Receiving a Call: When a visitor presses the call button on the outdoor camera, the indoor monitor will ring. Press the 'Answer' button on the indoor monitor to establish two-way communication.
• Monitoring: Press the 'Monitor' button on the indoor monitor to view the outdoor camera feed at any time.
• Speaking: Use the built-in microphone and speaker on the indoor monitor for hands-free communication with visitors.

4.2 Access Control

• Password Entry: Authorized users can enter a pre-programmed password on the access control keypad to unlock the door.
• RFID Card/Fob Access: Present a registered RFID card or fob to the access control keypad for quick entry.
• Remote Unlocking: From the indoor monitor, press the 'Unlock' button to remotely open the door for visitors.
• Exit Button: Use the 'Push to Exit' button located inside the premises to unlock the door for egress.

4.3 System Adjustments

• Brightness: Adjust the display brightness on the indoor monitor for optimal viewing.
• Chroma: Modify the color saturation of the video feed.
• Volume: Control the audio volume for both the intercom and chime.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the indoor monitor and outdoor camera. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Outdoor Unit: Periodically check the outdoor camera for any obstructions or debris that might affect its functionality or view. Ensure the rain cover is intact.
• Connections: Regularly inspect all wiring connections to ensure they remain secure and free from corrosion.
• Power Supply: Ensure the power supply unit is in a well-ventilated area and free from excessive heat or moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Power:
  Solution: Check the power supply unit connection and ensure it is receiving power. Verify all power cables are securely connected.
• No Video/Audio on Indoor Monitor:
  Solution: Check the wiring between the outdoor camera and the indoor monitor. Ensure all connections are correct and secure. Verify the outdoor camera is receiving power.
• Door Not Unlocking:
  Solution: Verify the electromagnetic lock is receiving power and is correctly wired to the access control system. Check the functionality of the push-to-exit button and the unlock button on the indoor monitor. Ensure the access code or RFID fob is correctly programmed.
• Intermittent Operation:
