1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Noopel Door Window Alarm. This device is designed to provide an effective and easy-to-install security solution for your home, office, apartment, or garage. By detecting the opening of doors or windows, it emits a loud alarm to alert occupants and deter potential intruders. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper installation and operation of your new security alarm.

4.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the main alarm unit.
  2. Slide the battery cover off.
  3. Insert three (3) LR44 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery cover securely.

4.2. Mounting the Alarm

The alarm and magnetic sensor must be mounted on the same plane (e.g., both on the door frame or one on the door and one on the frame) and aligned with each other. Ensure the gap between them is no more than 0.39 inches (10mm) when the door/window is closed.

  1. Clean the surface where you intend to mount the alarm and sensor. Ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
  2. Peel off the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape on the back of both the main alarm unit and the magnetic sensor.
  3. Attach the main alarm unit to the door or window frame.
  4. Attach the magnetic sensor to the door or window itself, aligning it with the main alarm unit. The small arrow on the magnetic sensor should point towards the main alarm unit.
  5. Press firmly for a few seconds to ensure a secure bond.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. To Activate the Alarm: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the main alarm unit. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. The alarm is now armed.
  2. To Deactivate the Alarm: Slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.
  3. Alarm Trigger: When the alarm is armed ('ON' position) and the door or window is opened, causing the main unit and magnetic sensor to separate by more than 0.39 inches (10mm), the 120dB alarm will sound immediately.
  4. Alarm Reset: The alarm will stop sounding once the door or window is closed and the main unit and magnetic sensor are brought back within the 0.39-inch (10mm) proximity.
