4. Setup and Pairing
The remote control requires pairing with your air conditioner. There are two methods: Manual Code Input and Automatic Code Search.
4.1. Manual Code Input
Use this method if you know the code for your air conditioner brand from the provided code table.
- Locate the corresponding code for your A/C brand in the 'Code Table' section below.
- Point the remote control towards your air conditioner.
- Press and hold the "SET" button until the three-digit code on the display flashes.
- Use the "TEMP ▲" or "TEMP ▼" buttons to enter your A/C's code.
- Press "SET" to confirm the code. The code will stop flashing.
- Test the remote's functions. If the A/C responds correctly, the setup is complete. If not, repeat steps 3-5 with a different code for your brand, or proceed to Automatic Code Search.
4.2. Automatic Code Search
Use this method if you cannot find your brand's code or if manual input fails.
- Ensure your air conditioner is powered on.
- Point the remote control towards your air conditioner.
- Press and hold the "SET" button for approximately 6 seconds until the three-digit code on the display starts flashing and automatically increases. The remote is now in automatic search mode.
- The remote will transmit codes sequentially. Observe your air conditioner. When it responds (e.g., turns on, off, or changes mode), immediately press the "ON/OFF" button to stop the search.
- Test the remote's functions. If the A/C responds correctly, the setup is complete. If some functions do not work, repeat the automatic search process to find a more compatible code.

- Remote not responding: Ensure batteries are fresh and correctly installed. Point the remote directly at the air conditioner's receiver.
- Air conditioner not responding after code input: Try a different code from the brand list, or use the automatic code search method. Some brands may have multiple compatible codes.
- Some functions not working: If the A/C responds but certain functions (e.g., specific modes, fan speeds) do not work, the selected code may not be fully compatible. Try another code using either manual input or automatic search.
- Abnormal operation: If the A/C signal receiving function or signal receiver works normally before using this remote control, but abnormal operation occurs with the universal remote, remove the batteries, wait for about half an hour, and then reinstall them. Resetting the remote may resolve the issue.
- Effective Distance: The effective operating distance of the remote control is approximately 8 meters. This distance may vary depending on the specific air conditioner model and environmental factors.
