Always observe the following safety precautions during installation and operation:

4. Product Overview

4.1 External Features

The CiT Blitz case features a plastic front panel with integrated RGB lighting and a full acrylic side window to showcase internal components. The top-mounted I/O panel provides convenient access to essential ports.

  • Front Panel: Plastic construction with RGB lighting elements.
  • Side Window: Full acrylic panel for component visibility.
  • I/O Panel: Located at the top, includes USB 3.0 x 1, USB 2.0 x 2, HD Audio (Headphone and Microphone), Power button, Reset button, and LED control button.

4.2 Internal Layout

The case supports ATX motherboards and offers ample space for component installation and cable management.

  • Motherboard Support: ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX.
  • Drive Bays: Dedicated mounts for 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs.
  • PSU Shroud: Integrated shroud for a clean build and improved airflow.

4.3 Cooling System

The CiT Blitz includes pre-installed RGB fans and supports additional cooling configurations.

  • Pre-installed Fans: 1 x 120mm single ring RGB fan at the top, 1 x 120mm single ring RGB fan at the rear.
  • Additional Fan Support: Front: 3 x 120mm; Top: 2 x 120mm (one pre-installed); PSU Cover: 2 x 120mm.
  • Watercooling Support: Front: 1 x 120mm, 1 x 140mm & 1 x 240mm radiator.
  • PSU Intake: Dedicated filtered intake from the bottom for optimal PSU cooling.

5. Setup Guide

5.1 Preparing the Case

  1. Place the case on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Remove the side acrylic panel by unscrewing the thumb screws.

5.2 Motherboard Installation

  1. Install the I/O shield into the rear opening of the case.
  2. Align the motherboard with the pre-installed standoffs. Install additional standoffs if required for your motherboard form factor.
  3. Carefully place the motherboard onto the standoffs.
  4. Secure the motherboard with screws.

5.3 Power Supply Installation

  1. Slide the power supply unit (PSU) into the dedicated compartment at the bottom rear of the case.
  2. Secure the PSU with screws from the rear of the case.

5.4 Storage Drive Installation (HDD/SSD)

  1. Locate the 2.5" SSD mounts behind the motherboard tray or 3.5" HDD bays in the PSU shroud area.
  2. Secure your SSDs/HDDs using the provided screws.

5.5 Expansion Card Installation

  1. Remove the necessary expansion slot covers from the rear of the case.
  2. Insert your expansion card (e.g., graphics card) into the appropriate PCIe slot on the motherboard.
  3. Secure the card with a screw.

5.6 Cable Management

Utilize the cable routing cutouts and space behind the motherboard tray to organize cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.

5.7 Connecting Front Panel I/O

Connect the front panel cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HD Audio, Power SW, Reset SW, HDD LED, Power LED) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific header locations.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On

After all components are installed and cables connected, replace the side panel. Connect the power cable to your PSU and press the Power button on the front I/O panel to start your system.

6.2 RGB Lighting Control

The CiT Blitz features integrated RGB lighting on the front panel and pre-installed fans. Use the dedicated LED button on the front I/O panel to cycle through various colors and lighting effects.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Dust Filter Cleaning

The case is equipped with a removable dust filter to prevent dust buildup. Regularly clean the dust filter to maintain optimal airflow and cooling performance.

  1. Locate the removable dust filter (e.g., at the bottom for the PSU intake).
  2. Gently slide out or detach the filter.
  3. Clean the filter using compressed air or by rinsing it with water. Ensure it is completely dry before re-installing.

7.2 General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or acrylic panel.

8. Troubleshooting

  • System does not power on: Ensure all power cables (PSU to wall, PSU to motherboard, CPU, GPU) are securely connected. Verify front panel power switch cable is correctly connected to the motherboard.
  • Fans not spinning or RGB not working: Check fan power connections to the motherboard or fan controller. Ensure RGB cables are properly connected and use the LED button to cycle modes.
  • No display output: Confirm the graphics card is properly seated and powered. Ensure the monitor cable is connected to the graphics card, not the motherboard I/O (if a dedicated GPU is installed).
  • Overheating: Verify all fans are spinning correctly and are oriented for proper airflow. Clean dust filters regularly. Ensure CPU cooler is properly installed.
