5. Setup

5.1 Physical Installation

The Nebula tablet comes with an Ultra Slim Wall Mount for secure and discreet installation.

  1. Prepare the Wall Mount: The Ultra Slim Wall Mount consists of two parts. One part attaches to the tablet, and the other to the wall.

  3. Attach Mount to Tablet: Screw one side of the wall mount to the VESA 75/100 mounting holes on the back of the tablet. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  4. Attach Mount to Wall: Screw the other side of the wall mount to your desired location on the wall. Use appropriate wall anchors if necessary.
  5. Secure Tablet: Once both parts are mounted, slide the tablet onto the wall-mounted bracket through the hinges until it clicks securely into place.

5.2 Initial Power-On

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC-in port on the tablet.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. The tablet should automatically power on. If not, press the power button located on the side/back of the device.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions for the initial Android setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account setup (optional).

5.3 Network Connection

The Nebula tablet supports both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity.

  • Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi, turn Wi-Fi on, select your network, and enter the password.
  • Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port on the tablet. The device will automatically attempt to obtain an IP address via DHCP.

  • Accessing STAROS: The STAROS app icon will be visible on the home screen. Tap to open.
  • Configuration: Within STAROS settings, you can configure:
