Setup Guide
1. Battery Installation
The Dark Ops Extreme camera requires 4 AA batteries for operation. For optimal performance, especially in low temperatures, lithium batteries are recommended. To install:
- Open the camera's front cover by unlatching the side clips.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. SD Card Installation
A 32GB Class 10 SD card is included with your bundle. The camera supports SD cards up to 512GB. To install:
- With the camera cover open, locate the SD card slot on the side of the control panel.
- Insert the SD card into the slot with the label facing forward until it clicks into place.
- It is recommended to format the SD card through the camera's menu before first use.

3. Initial Configuration
After installing batteries and the SD card, power on the camera and access the menu to set essential parameters:
- Set Date and Time: Navigate to the 'Date & Time' setting to ensure accurate timestamps on your captures.
- Select Mode: Choose between Photo, Video, or Timelapse+ mode based on your monitoring needs.
