Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the removable cover on the top of the mouse.
- Gently lift the cover from the rear to detach it.
- Insert one or two AA batteries into the designated slots, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the cover, aligning it properly and pressing down until it clicks into place.

2. Connecting the Mouse
The G603 offers two connectivity options: LIGHTSPEED Wireless (via USB receiver) and Bluetooth.
LIGHTSPEED Wireless Connection:
- Remove the LIGHTSPEED wireless nano receiver from its storage slot inside the mouse (under the cover).
- Plug the nano receiver into an available USB port on your computer. For optimal signal strength, use the included USB extension cable to position the receiver closer to the mouse.
- Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "HI" (LIGHTSPEED) position. The LED indicator on the mouse will illuminate blue briefly.
- Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
Bluetooth Connection:
- Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "LO" (Bluetooth) position.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (located next to the power switch) for 3 seconds until the LED indicator on the mouse starts blinking blue rapidly.
- On your computer, open Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
- Select "G603" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process. The LED will turn solid blue when connected.
Operating the Mouse
Power Modes and Connectivity Switching
The G603 features a power mode switch on its underside:
- HI (LIGHTSPEED): This mode provides the fastest 1ms report rate for optimal gaming performance.
- LO (Bluetooth): This mode offers standard Bluetooth connectivity, ideal for general use and extended battery life.
- OFF: Turns the mouse off to conserve battery power when not in use.
To switch between LIGHTSPEED and Bluetooth connections while the mouse is on, press the dedicated connectivity toggle button located near the DPI cycle button on the top of the mouse. The LED indicator will change color to confirm the active connection (blue for LIGHTSPEED, cyan for Bluetooth).
DPI Sensitivity Adjustment
The G603 allows for on-the-fly DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity adjustment. Use the dedicated DPI cycle button located behind the scroll wheel to cycle through preset DPI levels. The LED indicator will briefly flash to indicate the current DPI setting. Default DPI settings can be customized using the Logitech G HUB software.
Programmable Buttons
