2. Package Contents
Each MomMed LH50 Ovulation Test Kit includes:
- 50 Individually Packaged LH Ovulation Test Strips
- 50 Urine Collection Cups
- Instruction Leaflet with detailed usage guide
- Time Tracking Chart (may be included in leaflet or as a separate booklet)

3. How It Works
The MomMed Ovulation Test detects the Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in your urine. A rapid increase in LH levels, known as the LH surge, signals that ovulation is likely to occur within the next 24-48 hours. Identifying this surge helps pinpoint your most fertile window.
The test works by reacting with specific antibodies that detect LH. A control line will always appear, confirming the test is working correctly. A test line will appear if LH is detected. The intensity of the test line compared to the control line indicates the presence or absence of an LH surge.

4. Preparation for Testing
4.1. When to Begin Testing
The length of your menstrual cycle is the duration from the first day of bleeding to the day before the next one begins. To determine when to start testing, refer to the chart below based on your average cycle length. If you do not know your cycle length, you may begin testing 11 days after your first period. Perform 1 test each day over a 5-day period, or until the LH surge has been detected.

4.2. Urine Collection
Collect your urine sample in one of the provided clean urine cups. Do not use first morning urine for the most accurate results. The best time to collect urine is between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Try to collect your sample at approximately the same time each day. Reduce fluid intake for at least 4 hours before testing.
5. Testing Procedure
The MomMed Ovulation Test is fast and easy to use. Follow these steps carefully:
- Open the sealed pouch and remove the test strip.
- Immerse the test strip into the urine sample in the collection cup for 5 seconds. Ensure you do not dip past the MAX line indicated on the strip.
- Remove the strip from the urine and lay it flat on a clean, dry surface.
- Wait for 5 minutes for the results to appear. Do not read results after 15 minutes, as this may lead to inaccurate readings.

6. Reading Results
Interpret your results within 5-15 minutes after performing the test. Results read after 15 minutes may be inaccurate.
- Negative (No LH Surge): Only one color band appears on the control region, or the test band appears but is lighter than the control band. This means there is no LH surge.
- Positive (LH Surge): If two color bands are visible, and the test band is equal to or darker than the control band, ovulation will probably begin in the next 24-48 hours. If trying to get pregnant, the best time to have intercourse is after 24 but before 48 hours.
- Invalid: If no band is visible, or there is a visible band only in the test region and not in the control region, the result is invalid. Repeat with a new test kit.

7. Tracking Your Results
Use the provided Time Tracking Chart to record your daily test results. This helps you visualize the progression of your LH levels and accurately identify your LH surge over time. You can also use the MomMed Free App for digital tracking.

8. Storage and Handling
- Store the test kit at room temperature (39-86°F or 4-30°C) in the sealed pouch.
- Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
- Do not freeze.
- Each test strip is for single use only. Discard after first use.
- Do not use the test strip if the pouch is damaged or not well sealed.
- Do not use the test after the expiration date printed on the foil pouch.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1. Invalid Result
If no control line appears, the test is invalid. This could be due to insufficient urine, incorrect testing procedure, or a faulty strip. Repeat the test with a new strip, ensuring proper technique and sufficient urine volume.
9.2. Faint Test Line
A faint test line that is lighter than the control line indicates a negative result (no LH surge). Continue testing daily to monitor for a potential surge. If you consistently get faint lines and suspect you should be ovulating, consult a healthcare professional.
9.3. No LH Surge Detected
If you do not detect an LH surge over several days, it may indicate an irregular cycle. Continue testing for a longer period or consult your physician for advice.
