3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to connect your Philips 4-Port HDMI Switch:

  1. Position the Switch: Place the HDMI switch near your display and source devices. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  2. Connect Source Devices: Connect your HDMI source devices (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, streaming stick) to the HDMI INPUT ports (Input 1, Input 2, Input 3, Input 4) on the switch using high-quality HDMI cables (not included).   7. Insert Remote Battery: Open the battery compartment on the wireless remote control and insert the required battery (1 CR123A battery, typically included).

4. Operation

Switching Inputs:

You can switch between connected HDMI devices using two methods:

  • Using the Wireless Remote Control: Point the remote control towards the HDMI switch and press the corresponding input number button (1, 2, 3, or 4) to select your desired source device.
  • Using the Manual Switch Button: Press the 'SELECT' button located on the top of the HDMI switch to cycle through the available input ports (Input 1 → Input 2 → Input 3 → Input 4 → Input 1, and so on).

Input Indicators:

LED indicators on the front of the switch correspond to each input port (1, 2, 3, 4). The LED for the currently active input will be illuminated, allowing you to easily identify which source is selected.
