3. Setup and Assembly
The Reebok Zjet Rower requires some assembly. It is recommended to have two people for easier assembly. Ensure all components are present before beginning.
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place all parts on a clear, flat surface.
- Verify that all hardware and parts listed in the assembly guide (not provided in this digital manual) are present.
3.2 Assembly Steps (General Guidance)
- Attach the front and rear stabilizers to the main frame using the provided bolts and washers.
- Secure the main rail to the front unit. Ensure the connection is firm.
- Install the seat onto the rail, ensuring it slides smoothly.
- Connect the console unit to the main frame and attach any necessary cables.
- Attach the foot pedals and straps.
- Perform a final check: Ensure all bolts are securely tightened. Test the seat glide and resistance mechanism.

3.3 Power Connection
The console is powered by an AC adapter (not battery-powered). Connect the adapter to the rower's power port and then to a standard electrical outlet. An extension cord may be necessary due to the adapter's short cord.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Console Overview
The 4.5-inch LCD console displays important workout data and allows you to select programs and adjust resistance.

- Display Metrics: Time, Strokes, SPM (Strokes Per Minute), Calories, Distance, Pulse (if compatible heart rate monitor is used).
- Buttons: Typically include Start/Stop, Mode, Up/Down arrows for adjustment, and Program selection. Refer to the on-screen prompts for specific button functions.
4.2 Starting a Workout
- Sit on the seat and place your feet securely in the foot pedals. Adjust the Velcro straps to ensure your feet are firmly in place.
- Grasp the handle with both hands.
- Press the "Start" button on the console.
- Use the "Mode" or program selection buttons to choose a desired workout program or start in manual mode.
- Adjust the resistance level using the Up/Down arrows. There are 16 levels of electronic resistance.

4.3 Basic Rowing Technique
Proper technique is crucial for an effective and safe workout.
- The Catch: Knees bent, shins vertical, arms extended forward, back straight, shoulders relaxed.
- The Drive: Push off with your legs, then lean back slightly from the hips, and finally pull the handle towards your abdomen.
- The Finish: Legs extended, body leaning back slightly, handle at the abdomen, elbows past the body.
- The Recovery: Extend arms forward, then lean forward from the hips, and finally bend knees to slide forward on the rail.

5. Maintenance and Storage
5.1 Regular Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the rower with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Rail Cleaning: Periodically clean the seat rail to ensure smooth gliding.
- Bolt Check: Regularly check all bolts and connections for tightness. Tighten as necessary to maintain stability and safety.
- Strap Inspection: Inspect foot straps and the pulling strap for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.

5.2 Storage
The Reebok Zjet Rower can be folded for compact storage.
- Ensure the rower is powered off and unplugged.
- Locate the folding mechanism (typically a bolt or pin near the base of the rail).
- Unscrew or release the locking mechanism.
- Carefully lift the rail upwards until it locks into a vertical position.
- Ensure the rower is stable in its folded position before moving.

6. Troubleshooting
