1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the ProfiCook PC-MZ 1150 Multi Chopper and Ice Crusher. 2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all removable parts (glass container, lid, blades) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.

  1. Place the glass mixing container on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Carefully place the combination knife onto the central shaft inside the glass container. Ensure it sits correctly.
  3. Add your ingredients to the glass container. Do not overfill.
  4. Place the lid onto the glass container, ensuring it is properly aligned and securely seated.
  5. Position the motor unit onto the lid. The safety lock mechanism requires the motor unit to be correctly placed for operation.
  6. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet (220-240V, 50/60Hz).

5. Operating Instructions

The ProfiCook PC-MZ 1150 offers two speed levels for versatile processing.

5.1 Chopping, Grinding, Mincing, Shredding

  1. Prepare ingredients by cutting them into small, manageable pieces if necessary.
  2. Follow the assembly steps in Section 4.
  3. Press and hold the desired speed button on the motor unit.
    • Speed 1: For softer ingredients or coarser chopping.
    • Speed 2: For harder ingredients or finer chopping/grinding.
  4. Process ingredients in short pulses for better control and to prevent over-processing.
  5. Release the button to stop operation.
  6. Once processing is complete, unplug the appliance, remove the motor unit, then the lid, and carefully remove the blades before emptying the container.

5.2 Ice Crushing Function

The PC-MZ 1150 is also suitable for crushing ice.

  1. Place ice cubes into the glass container. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  2. Assemble the lid and motor unit as described in Section 4.
  3. Use Speed 2 for ice crushing. Press and hold the button in short bursts until the desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Unplug the appliance, disassemble, and carefully remove the crushed ice.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your appliance.

  1. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble the motor unit, lid, and blades from the glass container.
  3. Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse it in water or any other liquid.
  4. Glass Container, Lid, and Blades: These parts can be washed in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. The blades are very sharp; handle them with extreme care.
  5. For stubborn food residue, soak the glass container and lid in warm soapy water before cleaning.
  6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
  7. Store the appliance in a dry place, out of reach of children.

7. Troubleshooting
