- Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the power and clean the feeding chute and discharge opening. Remove any accumulated debris. Use a brush or a piece of wood to clear blockages.
- Blade Inspection: Periodically check the shredding blades for sharpness and damage. Dull blades reduce efficiency and can strain the motor. Refer to the service manual or contact customer support for blade replacement.
- Storage: Store the shredder in a dry, secure location, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Ensure it is clean and free of debris before storage.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Shredder does not start. | No power supply; safety switch not engaged; thermal overload. | Check power connection; ensure all covers are closed; allow motor to cool down. |
| Material is not shredding effectively. | Dull blades; incorrect material; material too wet. | Inspect/replace blades; only shred dry, appropriate material. |
| Shredder jams frequently. | Overfeeding; material too thick; foreign object. | Feed material slowly; check maximum branch diameter; clear blockage after disconnecting power. |
