Setup

1. Power Supply

The Majestic WT-229 can be powered by either batteries or the included USB power cable.

  • Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit. Insert two (2) 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment cover. (Note: Batteries are not included.)
  • USB Power: Connect the provided USB power cable to the designated port on the device and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.

2. Initial Power-On

Upon first power-on or after battery replacement, the device will perform a self-check and display default settings. You may then proceed to set the time and date.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Time and Date

  1. Press and hold the MODE button (or similar button, refer to device labels) for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press MODE again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. Adjust minutes using UP or DOWN.
  4. Continue pressing MODE to cycle through setting the year, month, and day, adjusting each with the UP or DOWN buttons.
  5. Press MODE one last time to exit setting mode.

2. 12/24 Hour Format Selection

In normal time display mode, press the UP button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.

3. Setting Alarm and Snooze

  1. Press the ALARM button (or similar) once to display the current alarm time.
  2. Press and hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds. The alarm hour digits will flash.
  3. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
  4. Press ALARM again to set the alarm minutes. Adjust with UP or DOWN.
  5. Press ALARM to confirm and exit.
  6. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM button briefly in normal time display mode until the alarm icon appears/disappears.
  7. When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes).
  8. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., ALARM, MODE) when it is sounding or snoozing.

4. Temperature Unit Selection

In normal display mode, press the DOWN button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.

5. Time Projection

The device features a projection lens, typically located on the side. Press the PROJECTION button (or similar) to activate the time projection onto a wall or ceiling. You may be able to adjust the projection angle and focus by rotating the lens or a dedicated knob.

6. MAX/MIN Temperature and Humidity

Press the MAX/MIN button (or similar) repeatedly to view the maximum and minimum recorded temperature and humidity values since the last reset. To reset these values, press and hold the MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds while viewing them.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the device functions erratically. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new AAA alkaline batteries.
  • Storage: If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store in a cool, dry place.
