6. Troubleshooting
6.1 No Sound Output
- Check all cable connections (guitar to INPUT, output to amplifier/headphones).
- Verify that the power supply is properly connected and functional.
- Adjust the analog volume control wheel on the side of the PE100 and the volume levels on any connected devices (amplifier, headphones).
- Ensure no effects within the current preset are muting the signal.
6.2 Distorted Sound
- Check input gain levels to prevent signal clipping.
- Adjust effect parameters, particularly for distortion or overdrive effects, to achieve desired tone.
- Ensure the output volume from the PE100 is not too high for the connected amplifier or headphones, which could cause external distortion.
6.3 Unit Not Powering On
- If using the DC adapter, ensure it is securely connected to the unit and a working power outlet.
- If using batteries, check the battery level and ensure they are inserted with correct polarity. Replace batteries if necessary.
6.4 Effects Not Functioning
- Verify that the specific effect block you intend to use is active within the current preset (indicated by the effect chain lights).
- Check the parameters and settings for the individual effect to ensure they are configured as desired.
