Operating Instructions

1. Power On and Pairing

  1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  2. Press and hold the power button on the drone until the indicator lights flash.
  3. Turn on the remote control. The remote's indicator light will flash.
  4. Push the left joystick (throttle) fully up, then fully down. The drone and remote lights will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

  • After pairing, push both joysticks down and to the right simultaneously for 2-3 seconds. The drone lights will flash rapidly and then become solid, indicating successful gyroscope calibration.

3. Basic Flight Controls

  • One-Key Takeoff: Press the one-key takeoff button (usually marked with an upward arrow). The drone will automatically ascend to a stable hovering height.
  • Throttle (Left Joystick Up/Down): Controls altitude. Push up to ascend, pull down to descend.
  • Yaw (Left Joystick Left/Right): Controls rotation. Push left to rotate counter-clockwise, push right to rotate clockwise.
  • Forward/Backward (Right Joystick Up/Down): Controls forward and backward movement.
  • Left/Right Sideways Flight (Right Joystick Left/Right): Controls strafing left and right.
  • One-Key Landing: Press the one-key landing button (usually marked with a downward arrow). The drone will automatically descend and land.

4. Advanced Features

  • Headless Mode: Press the headless mode button. In this mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, regardless of the drone's actual front. Press again to exit.
  • One-Key Return: Press the one-key return button. The drone will attempt to fly back towards its takeoff point. This feature relies on the drone's internal compass and may not be perfectly accurate.
  • 360-Degree Roll: Fly the drone to a height of at least 3 meters. Press the 360-degree roll button, then push the right joystick in the desired direction (forward, backward, left, or right) to perform a flip.

5. APP Control and Wi-Fi Video Transmission

  1. Download the designated APP (refer to packaging or quick start guide for APP name) from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Turn on the drone.
  3. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "WIFI-UFO-XXXXXX").
  4. Open the APP. You should see a live video feed from the drone's camera.
  5. Use the APP for additional features like voice control, trajectory flight, gravity sensor control, and to capture photos/videos directly to your phone.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote control. Avoid water or harsh chemicals.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not fully discharge or overcharge batteries. If storing for extended periods, charge to approximately 50%.
  • Propeller Replacement: If a propeller is damaged, carefully remove it and replace it with a spare, ensuring the correct 'A' or 'B' type is used for the corresponding motor.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the drone and its components in a safe place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

  • Drone not powering on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Check the power button.
  • Drone not pairing with remote: Ensure both drone and remote are powered on. Repeat the pairing sequence (left joystick up then down). Ensure no other strong Wi-Fi interference is present.
  • Unstable flight/Drifting: Perform gyroscope calibration on a flat surface. Check for damaged propellers and replace if necessary. Adjust trim controls on the remote if available.
  • Camera not working/No video feed: Ensure the camera module is securely connected to the drone. Verify your smartphone is connected to the drone's Wi-Fi network and the APP is open.
  • Short flight time: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Battery performance can degrade over time; consider replacing old batteries.
