5.1 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

- Fill the pot with a descaling solution (e.g., a mixture of water and white vinegar, or a commercial descaling agent according to its instructions).
- Allow the solution to soak for the recommended time (usually 30 minutes to an hour, or as per descaler instructions).
- Boil the solution if recommended by the descaling agent.
- Carefully discard the solution.
- Rinse the interior thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove all traces of the descaling agent.
- Perform an initial boil with fresh water and discard it before regular use.
5.3 Storage
When not in use for an extended period, ensure the appliance is clean, dry, and unplugged. Store it in a cool, dry place.
