- Do not leave the device unattended while in operation.
- Avoid contact with hot wax and heated surfaces. Use appropriate protective gear, such as heat-resistant gloves, if necessary.
- Ensure the locking cover lid is securely in place during operation to prevent spills.
- Do not immerse the electrical unit in water or any other liquid.
- Unplug the device when not in use and before cleaning.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present in your kit:
- 1 x Wick Candle Maker Machine
- 3 lbs Paraffin Wax
- 72 inches Cotton Wick
- 3 x Candle Rubber Stoppers
- 4 x Wax Pigment Packs (Red, Yellow, Blue, White)
- 3 x Candle Molds with Base
- 1 x Color Mixing Chart
- Additional accessories: 3 metal rods (for wick centering)

4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the Wick Candle Maker machine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate ventilation.
- Wick Preparation:
- Thread the cotton wick through the small hole in the center of a rubber stopper.
- Secure the wick at the bottom of the stopper with a knot or by pressing the wick into the stopper's groove.
- Insert the stopper with the wick into the base of your chosen candle mold. Ensure the wick is centered and taut.
- Use a metal rod or a wick bar (if included or self-supplied) across the top of the mold to keep the wick centered and upright.
- Wax Loading: Open the lid of the candle maker. Pour the desired amount of wax pellets into the melting chamber.
- Add Color/Scent (Optional): If using pigment or essential oils, add them to the wax in the melting chamber. Refer to the color mixing chart for pigment ratios.

5. Operating Instructions (Candle Making Process)
- Power On: Plug the candle maker into a standard electrical outlet.
- Set Temperature: Turn the temperature dial to the desired setting (Low, Medium, High). The machine features a thermostat to maintain consistent wax temperature.
- Melt Wax: Allow the wax to melt completely. Stir occasionally with a wooden stick to ensure even melting and color distribution.
- Position Mold: Place the prepared candle mold with the centered wick directly under the wax valve.
- Dispense Wax: Turn the wax valve knob to open and allow the melted wax to flow into the mold. Fill the mold to the desired level.
- Cooling: Once filled, turn the wax valve knob to close. Carefully remove the mold and place it on a flat, stable surface to cool and solidify. This process can take several hours depending on the size of the candle and ambient temperature.
- Second Pour (Optional): For layered candles or to top off shrinkage, repeat steps 4-6 once the first layer has partially solidified.
- Remove Candle: Once the candle is completely cool and hard, gently remove it from the mold.
- Trim Wick: Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch above the candle surface.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your candle maker.
- Unplug: Always unplug the device and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove Excess Wax: Once cooled, any remaining solid wax in the melting chamber can be gently scraped out. The removable wax collector facilitates this.
- Wipe Down: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the machine. For stubborn wax residue, a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cloth can be used, but avoid contact with electrical components.
- Clean Molds: Wash candle molds and rubber stoppers with warm, soapy water. Ensure they are completely dry before reuse.
- Storage: Store the candle maker and its components in a clean, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
- Wax not melting:
- Ensure the device is plugged in and the power switch is on.
- Check the temperature setting; increase if necessary.
- Verify that the wax is suitable for melting in the device (paraffin, soy, beeswax).
- Wax not dispensing:
- Ensure the wax is fully melted and free of solid clumps.
- Check that the wax valve knob is fully open.
- Inspect the wax valve for any blockages and clear carefully if found (only when cool and unplugged).
- Wick not centered:
- Ensure the rubber stopper is securely placed at the bottom of the mold.
- Use a wick bar or metal rod across the top of the mold to hold the wick in place during pouring and cooling.
- Candle has air bubbles or uneven surface:
- Pour wax slowly to minimize air bubbles.
- Allow the candle to cool slowly and evenly. A second pour can often fix shrinkage or surface imperfections.
