Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your kitchen island cart.
- Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth followed immediately by a dry cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining, especially on the wood top.
- Hardware: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as needed to maintain stability.
- Casters: Keep casters free of debris (hair, dust) to ensure smooth rolling.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your kitchen island cart, refer to the following common solutions:
- Cart is Wobbly: Ensure all assembly screws are fully tightened. Check that the cart is on a level surface. If the issue persists, disassemble and reassemble, paying close attention to the alignment of parts.
- Drawer/Door Not Closing Properly: Check for any obstructions in the drawer slides or hinge mechanisms. Ensure the magnetic door holders are correctly aligned and functioning. Verify that the drawer slides were installed correctly.
- Casters Not Rolling Smoothly: Check for hair or debris wrapped around the caster wheels. Clean them thoroughly. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully disengaged.
- Missing or Damaged Parts: If you find any parts missing or damaged upon opening the package, please contact Giantex customer support immediately for assistance.
