Setup Instructions
The Z-Shade Everest canopy is designed for quick and easy setup. It comes fully assembled and can be set up in minutes.
- Step 1: Unpack the Canopy. Remove the canopy frame and top from the oversized roller bag. Place the folded frame in the desired setup location.
- Step 2: Partially Open the Frame. With a person at each corner, gently pull the legs outwards, partially extending the frame. Do not fully extend yet.
- Step 3: Attach the Canopy Top. Drape the canopy fabric over the partially opened frame. Secure the corners of the fabric to the frame's corner posts. Ensure the fabric is centered and taut.
- Step 4: Fully Extend the Frame. Continue pulling the legs outwards until the frame is fully extended and the top canopy locks into place. You may need to push up on the center hub to fully extend the canopy.
- Step 5: Adjust Leg Height. The frame has 3 height adjustments. Press the push-button sliders on each leg to extend them to your desired height. Ensure all legs are set to the same height for stability.
- Step 6: Secure with Stakes. Use the provided stakes to anchor each leg of the canopy to the ground. This is crucial for stability, especially in light wind conditions.

Operating Instructions
Once set up, the Z-Shade Everest canopy provides instant shade and protection.
- Shade and UV Protection: The 150D polyester fabric provides 100 square feet of shading coverage and 99% UV sun protection. Position the canopy to maximize shade based on the sun's position.
- Rain Protection: The canopy offers protection from light rain. In case of heavy rain, water may pool on the canopy top. Regularly push up on the underside of the canopy to release pooled water to prevent damage to the frame or fabric.
- Height Adjustment: The canopy features 3 height adjustments. To change the height, press the push-button sliders on each leg and slide the inner leg to the desired position. Ensure all legs are adjusted equally.

Maintenance and Storage
Proper maintenance and storage will extend the life of your Z-Shade Everest canopy.
- Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before folding and storing.
- Frame Care: The steel frame is powder-coated for rust resistance. If scratches occur, touch up with rust-inhibiting paint to prevent corrosion.
- Drying Before Storage: Always ensure the canopy fabric and frame are completely dry before folding and storing them in the roller bag. Storing a damp canopy can lead to mold, mildew, and fabric degradation.
- Storage: Store the canopy in its oversized roller bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Disassembly: To disassemble, reverse the setup steps. Lower the legs, unlock the frame, and gently push the frame inwards until it is fully collapsed. Carefully remove the canopy top.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Canopy is unstable or wobbly. | Not properly staked; legs not extended to equal height; uneven ground. | Ensure all stakes are firmly in the ground. Verify all legs are set to the same height. Move to more level ground if possible. |
| Water pooling on canopy top during rain. | Heavy rainfall exceeding drainage capacity; canopy not taut enough. | Periodically push up on the underside of the canopy to release pooled water. Ensure canopy fabric is stretched tautly over the frame. Consider taking down in heavy rain. |
| Difficulty extending or collapsing the frame. | Frame joints are stiff or misaligned; debris in joints. | Ensure all push-button sliders are fully depressed when adjusting height. Check for any obstructions in the joints. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts if necessary. |
